Future Leaders, the newest course to the Association of Investment Marketing suite, enables investment marketing managers to prepare for future leadership roles. The Future Leaders programme develops your commercial acumen, strategic thinking and planning skills as well as the soft skills to present, influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders. You will also build your network and keep abreast of the latest industry and digital marketing trends.
Following extensive research working with and talking to senior fund management marketers, focus on the following key areas:
Commerciality and Data – speaking the language of the boardroom. Understanding rudimentary finance, how the investment industry works and the latest industry trends. Using hard data, metrics and robust analysis to present one’s case.
Communication – the soft skills – how to influence, negotiate and present more effectively.
Contemporary Marketing Best Practice – the latest industry marketing trends combined with marketing best practice transferred from other sectors.
Coaching and Managing – learning how to manage up, down and sideways.
The course is designed to address these challenges over four, one-day sessions over 6 months using a combination of one-day workshops, webinars, online resource, accountability groups and 1:1 coaching. You will also build your network and be eligible to attend our acclaimed Expert Speaker events.
